I am a creative software engineer with a proven knowledge of programming, web design, and full stack application development.
When I graduated high school, I went to Israel to serve as a Paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces. At first I used this as an opportunity to learn more about myself, life, and where I fit in society. After serving for 2 years, I had a grand realization that I never want to define myself as a specific type of person. I want to live a life of change, growth and inspiration.
Being that my natural talents and interests were in science and mathematics, I went to college and majored in Mechanical Engineering. This experience was both exhilarating and challenging. All of the math equations that I came across throughout this part of my life helped develop my mind and shape me to become more oriented towards computer science.
While studying full time in college, I was also working full time as a sales rep for an online jewelry website. Being that I served in the military in a foreign land, I was up for the challenge. The communication skills that were developed from the military experience made my time as a sales rep fun and successful.
While juggling these two full time commitments, I brought in $50k+ in sales each month!
After delving into advanced mathematics and physics courses, I stumbled across the course “Intro to Computer Science”. This changed everything for me. I fell in love with the art of coding. I did tremendous research and decided to switch gears out of college and towards an immersive software engineering boot-camp.
Now I know how to code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, Django, Node, Express, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
